Case Study

Mary’s Kitchen Remodel

The goal of this project was to open up the kitchen and give it a complete makeover. First order of business was to add more light. Recessed lights were added, the wall was removed and a peninsula with pendant lights was added, cabinets, counterss and floors were replaced, a backsplash was added, the windows were replaced, and last but not least, a fresh coat of paint tied it all together!

The vision for this project was to completely gut the existing kitchen and remove the wall between the kitchen and dining room. Brighter colors were used and additional lighting was installed to brighten up the space!

Phase 2: Design

Initial renderings were created to help visualize the removal of the partition wall. A peninsula was also installed to help create more counter space and seating.

Phase 3: Construction

Total construction time for this project was 3 weeks. Here’s a behind the scenes look!

The Final Product

A total transformation! This kitchen went from dark and cramped to bright and open. A perfect space for entertaining!
